Secondborn, progeny of the southern winds. Quiet, unassuming, melts away into the crowd, withheld glint in pale eyes. She blends in well, almost too well, indiscernible from dragons but for the rippling sheen of her wings, shifting in and out of sight. This one has managed to keep most of the warping under control, preferring the living world to the realm of the dead. She is eccentric, but not so much so as her elder sister, keeping her thoughts to herself. Inquisitive, curious, actively seeking out the things she does not understand. Her blood ensures that she can travel to the worlds of the living past, if it is her wish, to uncover the truths and lies.
She is a being who was almost not, survival, by the skin of her teeth. The magic that stirs within her scrawny frame wavers, leaving her weak and struggling for breath. Limitation, a weakness to her as much as her sister’s strength. Power, leaching from her in hollow swathes, and knowledge, rushing in to fill the gaps. She pulls in the energy from the space around her, and along with it, the churning thoughts of those taking in that very same air.
A weakness of the body does not result in one of the mind.
