Suzy
In memory of my grandma. November 11th, 1950 ~ September 1st, 2015

You may also know her as: Grammy, Aunt Sue, Suzy Q, Gram, Suzanne, Gramma Lamma, or The Nicest Lady at the WalMart Photo Center.

You would often hear Grammy singing "I got SUNSHINE!!! On a clooooooudy day!!..." from anywhere in the house as she went through her day. She was known to bust a move anytime Aerosmith, Bon Jovi (or "Jon Bon Jovininski"), Michael Jackson, or Elton John was on the radio.

Her favorite movies were Tombstone (had the HUGEST crush on cowboys!), Pirates of the Caribbean, the first few Harry Potter movies, Maleficent, and many more. If one of those movies wasn't on, it was NCIS, Matlock, Murder She Wrote, or Little House on the Prairie. She watched Law & Order, but skipped the first half of the episode- the court drama was her favorite part. She fell asleep if you turned on cartoons- especially Catdog.

Grammy loved nature. She had the most amazing green thumb, and she sent us pictures of every new bloom. She really loved birds! She taught me how to bird watch at a young age.

Grammy always kept a handful of pet hermit crabs ("hermies"), hence the Sandshore Snipper familar!

She was so comfy, always soft to lay on! When she was cold, she would demand that you put a sweater and socks on.

She wasn't a baking grandma, or a knitting grandma, but she made amazing scalloped potatoes, pork chops, and stuffed green peppers!!

I was her first grandbaby, and she was my first grandma! I'll never forget her smile, her voice, her legacy! I love you, Grammy!
