Greystone Deer
Elderyth is the clan's oldest member (if not the oldest by age), and as such holds himself in a lofty view of rank. He is secretive and grows irritable at the mere thought of anyone prying into his private matters, though suspicion is not necessarily ill-advised around him, as he's predisposed to underhanded means of achieving wants and needs so long as the outcome is favorable to him. Yet this malice is not a default; while it would be silly to call him compassionate or patient, he doesn't lash out without reason, even if such reason happens to be petty. He holds a deep fondness for Apricot especially, as she was the first dragon to find him and welcome him when he was left behind with an injured wing by the swarm that spawned him. To that point, he's fiercely protective of her, and does not tolerate pranks and cruelty sent her way, even if he might participate in such games with others.

His most frequent friend within the clan seems to be Undertow, whose dry humor he enjoys greatly.

As the clan grows, Elderyth has been forced to admit that running it is a task for no single dragon, least of all himself. Viridia's organizing skills are invaluable, and it is through her meticulous records (and a few wryly-offered suggestions) that he's hand-picked the best dragons to help.
