The Eclipsed Dawn's mantle comes with a strict clause; no offspring can be sired by those committed to its cause. Cthigl, having shed her old name and way of life, adheres to this law and has cast off any association with her once-brood - even going so far as to erase their names itself. She dons herself in black, mourning yet never regretting the 'deaths' of her children - or if she does, no ounce of weakness is ever betrayed in her sea of unblinking eyes.

Cthigl slips between the shadows of the Ruined City, spying on members of Light and those of the Eclipsed Dawn themselves. She flits to and fro, collecting ever bit of information she can before reporting it in full to Beast, and thus is distrusted by the rest of her own clan members.
