Personality
Strange and portentially childish is one way to describe Elinor. Others would say you just can't see the walls she's built up.
Either way, Elinor is known around the clan to be a bit of a goofball. It isn't to say she isnt good at being a leader of the clan, she is very good at her job in part to being on such friendly and level terms with her clan memebers.
She's just.... odd.
Sometimes she will spout random lines from a completely different subject than her current converstation though the occurance is rare, she can become fixated on one subject or suddenly have her attention taken by random items (paticularly shinies).
Despite this, she does her best as a clan leader and works with the much more calm Kayce when needing to make decisions that requires an eye more suited for detail and non-emotional work.

History
Elinor was born in the Windwept Plataues of the Wind Flight.
Or so her eyes claim.
Where Elinor was born is a complete mystery and she isnt talking.
The facts the clan know are that, as a hatchling, she sheltered Weblyn and Fori and told them where to find the grounds that Clan Cross is located today and that at some point in her travels she met and mated to the fellow wildclaw, Nagu.
The truth?
She will never speak of it, but her birth clan once stood one the grounds where Clan Cross now stands. She had heard the stories of her former clan and the legendary treasure it supposedly had. When she was a hatchling, she did not understand what had happened, other than seeing a dark imperial doing something to the food supply that resulted in almost all of her clan mates dying by poison. She was shuffled along after that, with the knowledge that her clan had been cleaned by others but left abandoned and her few clanmates left slowly began dying off around her as they tried to eck out a living without a clan to defend them.
Not long after her last former clanmate had died, she found Weblyn and Fori and offered them shelter in her hidden, underground den she had taken to not long before so they would not be slain by a passing band of bandits. When they told her of their plight, she told them of her former clan's home but omitted the part of it formerly being hers or what had happened to its former residants. She also never told them of the legendary treasure that had gone missing from the grounds after her clan had been killed, nor that the place it had been stored away had been torn apart. After all, the murderous thief had no way of knowing that the legendary treasure liked to nest with hatchlings such as herself.
After that she traveled and traveled, seeing each flight and eventually gained a traveling companion in the wildclaw Nagu.
The two fell in love and became mates after traveling together for over two years and not long after Elinor was sent a message by Weblyn. While she initially had some reservations about returning to her old home, she still couldnt ignore her old friend's request and so Nagu and Elinor went back to her hatchling home.
To this day she has yet to tell a single dragon of the events, not even Nagu, though rumors are that Soleil knows a dark secret about Elinor.
Her constant companion, above all and who knows all secrets between Elinor's birth to now is the Nature Sprite you can always find nesting in either her knapsack or on her head. She sometimes jokingly refers to it as 'Her Stowaway Legendary Treasure'.

Their Nest
The shared nest between Elinor and Nagu is, surpisingly, incredibly neat. There are five platforms with stairs spiraling up to each platform and on the topmost one a doorway that leads to a thick branch that overlooks the clan with a lounging nest of leathers built in for easy sun bathing.
Elinor and Nagu's nest itself is on the fourth floor and is made mostly of soft furs and silks with thick fabric used to block it off from the eyes of any who come happen to go all the way to the fourth landing.
The third landing has bookshelves woven directly into the tree and a section of the trunk woven into the platform to allow for a table and work station for Elinor herself.
The second floor is a lab for Nagu, allowing him to work in relative peace and quite aside from when Elinor begins to pace while working above.
The first floor is a common area, with leathers and furs used for simple lounging for any who are there, along with a small storage compartment with snacks that Nagu regularly restocks. It is noted that it contains mostly snacks that Elinor likes, though there are several that are his own favorites.
In all areas of the den are gems, crystals, and other various trinkets that Elinor has collected and set around for various reasons. The only one who knows the exact reason for their placement is Elinor herself.
