Consort to the Clan's reigning Monarch who hails from high nobility. Surprisingly skilled with a knife or six.

About

Mai is a noble and fearsome Nocturne who has rightfully earned her place as the mate of the Clan's Monarch. She is a skilled warrior who specializes in bladed weapons, and though she is not native to the Clan, she is from a long line of pure-blooded, high-ranking Nocturnes. She left her former home and family to be with her mate, Zuko, and she was disowned for mating with an Imperial. The Coral Basilisk which is often perched on her back is named Rion, and is fiercely protective of her. It imprinted with her as a hatchling, and will not leave her. And though she pretends it is a nuisance, she would not want the bird to leave her.

Though many of the Clan's dragons think she is rather cold and detached, she is a devoted mate and a loving mother. Regardless of their personal views, all of the Clan can agree she is a fierce leader who is dedicated to the Clan, and would fight with her life to protect it and its members.

Her most prized possession is her ancient knife, which was passed down to her from her mother and has been in her family for generations without losing the sharpness of its blade, and her favorite food is Flecked Bushrunner.

Her former familiars include a Smoke Gyre named Luzal.
