631.png Grist wasn’t always… troubled. She had a couple friends who she would hang out with almost constantly. Grist loved to talk and was generally very modest. Slowly though, something changed. She would often manipulate “friends” into doing things for her, and wouldn’t seem to have any real friends, even though her old ones tried again and again to reconnect. She would do risky thing for no reason other than finding it fun, and taunted other dragons without feeling a shred of remorse. Eventually her clan left her, scared of what she would become. She wandered around the tangled woods, leaving pranks on clans in the area by leaving ominous message in dark red ink. With her reckless behavior, it’s no wonder Grist turned out to be shade touched. One night, the stars seemed to disappear from the sky, and the shade came down upon her. She was eventually taken in by a newly formed Shadow clan. They came to her, as by then she was well known as a shade touched dragon. But they said they needed her to help a young wildclaw fight back against the shade. She happily agreed, and they were relieved. But they didn’t know what they were getting themselves into. She calmed down eventually, finding a mate in Ricben and having two clutches with him.
