    Tempest was roped into the care and management of the clan following the discovery of Gummy gathering what she assumed to be "abandoned and forgotten goods" (in his very occupied lair). He agreed to help her move some heavier items (which he silently dubbed "useless junk") around what would eventually become the clan lair, and, coming to enjoy her company, elected to stay with her and the new clan rather than return to his previous dwelling.

    Over time, he has come to protect the cavern system and Gummy ferociously, and can often be seen above ground, silently observing who enters and exits the lair. He is also responsible for assembling the various scouting parties that scope the nearby wilderness for friends and foes alike, though he rarely accompanies them, feeling uneasy leaving the lair too far behind.

    Gruff, taciturn, and slow to anger, some in the clan regard him as just as immovable as the stone of the cave walls. Indeed, the well of his patience never seems to run dry, though few could call him a warm or welcoming individual.
