Vanda
Head Inn Keeper Warmhearted – Loves to Tell Stories – Loves to Cook Etymology Named after a variety of orchid, her secondary color. About Vanda came to the Comillo Fuego clan just by happenstance. She was on her many travels throughout the lands to help those in need. She never really felt like she belonged where she was born. Vanda loved to travel and meet new and exciting dragons along the winding roads. Sometimes she would try and bunk with her new friends just to know where they were from and what they were doing out in the wilds. Once Vanda came into the Fire Fang clan she noticed that they had a facility set aside for the travelers that came through the Land of the Colored Sand, but nothing was really done with it. So she decided to ask the elders (Frostbite and Liadan) if it was okay for her to take on the task and make it her own to run and care for. They both happily obliged. So Vanda set forth to open her new inn in her new home. She decided to call it the Emberlight inn due to the fire clan she was in, as well as some of the rooms seemed to have a smoldering ember color and light to them. It took Vanda just a few months until she could open up her doors, but every room and item was meticulously hand chosen until everything had a perfect place and look. Her first day open a male Skydancer by the name Phaderus entered through the door. Vanda was awestruck by his coloring and beauty. She found out that he was from a lightning clan from the farthest corner of the land of the colored sand. As the night grew on and it was time for her to close the inn up for the night, she invited him up to her quarters above the inn and they talked the night away. As weeks went by, they became closer. And soon he told her he wanted to stay in Comillio Fuego with her, and then he asked her to be his mate. Vanda happily agreed. Now they both keep the Emberlight inn one of the best meeting places in all the lands. She loves to cook for all the guests and he's a bit OCD and loves to keep all the rooms and common areas tidy. Through their travels, they collect things for one another. Phaderus found their now loyal Bantam fangar Simon for her to keep her extra company in the kitchens. Even though he is a REALLY bad beggar. As well as the pearly jewelry that she never takes off, because it matches her wings. |
