"They say home is where the heart is. I like to think, in that case, that I've got two hearts."

Norigi is a wind dragon that grew up longing to travel to the Southern Icefields, feeling that she was separated from where she truly belonged. After all, she was covered in thick fur and raised in a clan of skydancers and spirals. She always assumed -- perhaps correctly -- that she was an odd one out, that she was never really meant to be where she was.

Once she hit adulthood, Norigi set out to venture back to her supposed homeland, yet stopped in the sky to take one last look at the place where she'd been raised. Had she not stopped her future might have been very different. It was then that she saw another tundra like her, with dirt-colored fur and grass-colored wings. The poor thing was trying so hard to form his own clan-- but he obviously knew very little about the area.

The pure-hearted dragon decided to stay just a bit longer to help Kamikaze form his clan. A few days turned into a few weeks, then a few months, and the two fell in love as they built a new home together. Once it was complete Kamikaze made a formal proposal, which she accepted, on one condition: she wanted to go to the Southern Icefields before officially starting their life together. Having been raised there himself, he was able to more than fulfill this wish for her.

Norigi is beautiful and absolutely adores her cool shades of blue and purple, for they remind her of the mighty glaciers of her favorite land. Her wish to live there had diminished over time as her love for her clan and its members has grown. Yet whenever that longing returns, she needs only tell her husband, and by the next sunrise they're off on the warm wind for another short vacation. 		Mirror
