THE BLACKSMITH

Born to a wealthy and well-known clan of Guardians, his father and mother were the clan patriarch and matriarch. The oldest of five children, Dante showed talent as a leader at a young age. However, when it came time to seek out his charge, he found he did not possess the instinctual urge to protect someone. What was a Guardian without a charge?

Though this fact did not bother him, his parents were ashamed of their son and his...quirk. In an attempt to salvage the family name, Dante was cast out of his clan. He spent most of his young adult life wandering the wilds of the Tangled Wood, the Sunbeam Ruins and the Shifting Expanse before finally coming to reside in the Ashfall waste. He found a home with the Nightsong clan, ran by Tornac and Syra, who took him in without a second thought.

Despite the happiness he found with his new clan, his resentment towards his family remained in the back of his thoughts all the time. He vowed to gain his vengeance on them someday, though that day has not yet come.

Dante serves as the clan blacksmith and is very talented at his job. He crafts the most beautiful of weapons--swords, daggers, axes--for his clan-mates, and also for Arco and Neytiri to sell in their shop. When not in his forge, he enjoys reading and tagging along with the hunting party.
