Biography

There's a special place in this clan, said to be blessed with the most potent magic of the stars. It's at the edge of the lair, on top of the cliff that the clan sits upon. If you go there when the time is right, you'll be able to find a Pearlcatcher.

This is Waterstone, a dragon who can never be found during the day, but somehow always appears here when the sun sets completely, without ever being seen. She stares into the starry sky every night until sunrise. No dragon who lives in the clan or has visited has ever seen her move. She simply stares up, as if she's looking for something.


I can't look away, I have to find the right moment. When all the moons shine down upon me maybe I be saved. Until then I can't move. Plants have begun to grow on me, but their light is actually helpful for viewing the sky, so it doesn't matter that I can't move them off. I continue to stare up, feeling the hours slowly tick by as the waning moons drift by.

My grip around my pearl feels very tight tonight. My hands over that special area, the reason I can't move until the moons fix the mistake I've made. Why are we cursed as such? To always have to carry our souls in such a vulnerable state? If I moved a single bit, I know I wouldn't survive. Because of the crack I've made, the one that splits my pearl in two, only kept together with my hands clasped around it.
