Gladiolus, the Treasurer

Bio: Serious, penny-pinching and somewhat judgmental, Gladiolus is not particularly well-liked within the Clan but few can argue his methods don't work at keeping the Clan afloat financially so he is reluctantly tolerated by the majority. Is known to sulk for days whenever a large amount of treasure is withdrawn for gene scrolls, seeing them as too cosmetic to be a true investment.
Previously mated with Merchant Fuchsia but disagreements on money management divided them soon after their first clutch. He is known to have a tumultuous relationship with Scout Rain due to his thieving habits and is generally considered a loner. He does get on well with Scholar Zephon, Inventory Keeper Cataclysm, Librarian Cu and Clan Head Vortex however. When she joined he found himself almost constantly badgered by former Head-Gatherer Moonlight trying to 'lighten his sour mood'. Rumour has it she actually managed it and that's why the two ended up together although the rest of the Clan protest that he remains as serious as ever, while other eyes are watching at least.
When Moonlight decided to move on, to serve on the front lines under the Arcanist directions, Gladiolus stayed with the Clan, to raise their son Astronomer Verbena and keep Everyst from falling apart financially as he always has done. He eventually found new love in the Seer Kimi who he fell horn-over-tail for after watching her find gems so easily to refill the Clans coiffeurs, then got to know her better after approaching her about it.
