HALFMOON

A comet hurtles through the void. A blazing star streaks through the night sky.  CRASH  The ground shakes. |

| In the middle of a dark forest, with only the light of the mushrooms and the embers from the smoldering meteorite to see by, a tiny Fae emerges from inside of her comet home. With no way to leave this strange, dark planet, she decides to make a home here. The darkness is comforting. The bio-luminescent mushrooms like stars against the blackness that permeates the forest. |

A wandering Tundra who saw the star fall and felt the ground shake finds the impact crater still smoldering. Before he knows what is happening, he is overcome with darkness. The Fae brings her new mate into the cavern unearthed by the meteorite crash. This will be the beginning of her new clan on this strange planet. |
| Over time, the Fae, now calling herself Halfmoon, along with her first mate Tamarix, gather other dragons to expand their mighty clan. Soon, an elder council forms. Halfmoon, Tamarix, Morphine, Xenon, and Halfmoon's new mate-project Trickstar. Tamarix begins to realize that he was never loved by Halfmoon, only used to help her to form this clan. By now though, he cannot bear to leave his family. |

The Clan of the Fallen Star grew quickly, and soon Halfmoon began to seek out the great magic of the Arcane Flight. With the blessing of Shadowbinder and Arcanist (and a promise to remember her first home), Halfmoon and her clan moved to the shining shores of the Starfall Isles. Halfmoon wasted no time setting up her own telescopes and observatories to study the stars where she used to live. She swore to one day find a way to return home... with the teachings of Arcanist and Shadowbinder, she may yet find a way. |
