After what felt like an eternity, Bless had finally overcome the crippling heartbreak that had plagued him for so long. The realisation that his life wasn't over, that he still had meaning to others, that life was still beautiful, breathed new life into him. Within the forest that he called home, he found a new purpose. His adopted Coatl sons, his new familiar, the cat that took a liking to him, they were all reminders that he is still someone. One love did not define him, and one loss would not end him.

With this realisation, his days were more vivid. Food tasted better. He slept more soundly at night.
He felt alive. He felt happy. His name is Bless and he is, well and truly, Blessed to be who he is. One day he will return to his clan with his new family and maybe, just maybe, they would meet again.
