Hesperides

As a young dragon, Hesperides made the attempt to climb reedcleft ascent. On his way up, he happened to witness the criminal Deniz in the act of foul play. Deniz saw Hesperides in turn, and caught the young dragon before he could escape to tell anyone. The wretched attacker broke Hesp's wings, smashed his pearl, and left him for dead at the bottom of one of the many canyons of reedcleft.

Desperate and dying, Hesperides had no choice but to immediately answer his instinct to create a new pearl. Having landed by happenstance in the nest of a local snapper clan, he poured his inner pearl laquer onto a snapper egg before he knew what he was doing. The result was Lirnahe, the living pearl.


Though Nature-blooded himself, this proud warrior comes from a long and honorable line of Water Flight dragons. He is proud of his similarities to his great grandfather BrightBay, and works hard to make his ancestors proud.
