A phantom thief, simply called "Phantom." This gentlemanly thief can easily masquerade as a person of importance, usually high class, to obtain the object he is targeting. As a mercy, and fair game, he will always send out a letter of notification the night before. Seeing these letters as a challenge, the police will round up their best to apprehend Phantom, but is always fooled by him. Phantom is also accompanied by his trusty silver Ferret, Bandit, who also knows a few tricks as well. Though no one knows who Phantom is, those who have suspected to have encountered him as he blended with the crowd suggest that he is very much a gentleman. He particularly seems affectionate towards men, as well as kind and respectful of women. And though Phantom is a master thief--he usually steals from the old and the greedy. Surprisingly enough, many of the artifacts he steals were heirlooms that belonged to others. Though somehow these heirlooms are found in the hands of the wealthy, many think it is by shady and illegal means. Still, when Phantom steals these artifacts, somehow, they are found back at their rightful owners. No one knows Phantom or his motives, but much of the public do not want him to be caught, and even cheer for him.
"Phantom's actions have not been missed by many, including law enforcements and children who view him in the light of a hero. It isn't uncommon for young vagabonds to try and imitate his great heists, pick-pocketing nobles in crowded streets to share with those in poverty and some daring to aim for things on a much grander scale. Very few spot the figure watching from the darkest corners or the highest of places, wide eyes partially obscured by the mask they wore.
Some say that the closest a dragon can see them is when a young one is just about to be caught, and they swoop in to provide a brief distraction to let the youngling escape before they themself disappear back into the shadows." - Reginapis #243024
