Biography
Found wandering as a hatchling, this dragon seemed lost and confused. His icy-looking fur seems to crackle with electricity, and he never speaks a word, although some dragons claim to hear him muttering softly from time to time. He is very good at running and hiding from any dragon that approaches him, and has been known to get into the scribe's ink stores, though no one knows what he does with the ink. Rarely seen, he holds in his possession a strange, green-glowing talisman, which, having once been a Guardian, he still keeps as his Charge, despite now being a Skydancer. This dragon is known for, on the rare occasion someone sees him first, staring off into space, seemingly oblivious to the world around him. Grimtalon calls him a valuable asset, though no one knows why. He is often avoided due to the strange, unnatural change from Guardian to Skydancer, and is not regarded in any positive manner by either breed.
Still rather small by the standards of most Skydancers, this strange dragon retains a fair amount of bulk from his days as a Guardian. While he is fully capable of flight, and has been known to use Fae tunnels, this Skydancer is rather plump, and some dragons who manage to catch him have difficulty lifting him, either due to his weight alone, or the frenzied scrambling he uses to attempt escape. He does not like being touched, and has difficulty speaking. Riln has diagnosed him with a draconic form of autism.
Once long ago there was an oracle, one that bore a terrible curse. When prophecies were spoken, none believed, though every word was truth. Forever unheeded, eternally called liar, the oracle still waits.
Seer led the way through the deep tunnels, Grimtalon following closely behind, flanked by Ridgebacks. A deep growling echoed ahead, and the party slowed. Creeping quietly, Seer snuck around a corner, as a massive snore shook the cavern. A massive Dire Claw slept just a few steps away. Towering over him even asleep, the great bear was deep in hibernation. Moving it to another cave so the lair could expand would be risky.
"Killing it would be too much effort. That hide looks too thick for our claws." Revenant hissed quietly.
"Agreed. Seer, can you tame this beast? We could use another lair guard." Grimtalon growled.
Seer only nodded. Somewhere behind them, Beastkeeper shuffled through to tunnel in their direction. Together, the two could tame the Dire Claw with ease. Once completed, the clan's namesake would become its new mascot.
