An optimist with a not-so-secret thrill-seeking side, Miel inherited his mother's love of flight; any hint of high winds turning this otherwise shy dragon into an acrobatic daredevil.

As a Plague dragon, the gentle nocturne was always an oddity in a flight full of hardened survivors- with some assuming he wouldn't last long into adulthood. It seemed only natural then that he should leave his original clan and let the winds take him to greener places. A swift flier with a love of travel, life as a courier would be a perfect fit, wouldn't it?

Except with his crimson eyes and the marks of his upbringing in the Scarred Wasteland, he found himself shunned by dragons who did not know better- expecting him to spread plague along with messages. It seemed that he did not quite fit anywhere, the young dragon scraping by on delivery runs too unpleasant, menial, or dangerous for other couriers to accept.

It was one such job that brought him to a tiny windswept island where a ragtag clan of misfit dragons was beginning to take shape. Here he finally found a home-- with most of the dragons there being outcasts or castaways of some form or another, nobody really minded where he came from. With his flight skills and willingness to brave any weather, Miel has become the Beacon Clan's full time courier and a vital link between the island and the mainland.

Miel is addicted to hot drinks, especially after a tough flight, and will gladly accept payment in coffee or cocoa~
