Then imma say Dumpling comes from a traveling family that performs for most of their money and the occasional food making. She has a natural affinity for performing, more than happy to introduce dancing and singing to her acting performances.

They could have met during one of those , but then got to know each other during one of the acting classes? She is a good student and would have attempting to help in her own way to settle him enough to understand or found other ways that fit better learning for him

And then vice versa, Rafiq could give her confidence givne she isn't from the best family and tries her best. Often happy to start impromptu sessions with him of dancing/acting/singing variations

They aid in helping others learn their craft while putting on impromptu performances at The House and wherever they travel. It's very common for Dumpling to start singing while Rafiq plays the instrument of his choice.
