BIOGRAPHY
elise used to be beautiful. she had a personality to match it, commandeering and rude to anyone she met -- expected them to worship her feet. when she spread her wings, it would strike equal fear and awe into the heart of anyone who met her. even if she was beautiful, her hubris of pride became her downfall.
lured by the promise of gems and treasure, she travelled a long way to the farthest island of the arcanist's territory to search for a mythical cave. there, a strange relic drew her in and caused her to become blind and unseeing, and sent weird shades of color through her body. she was no longer beautiful, but elise had seen the error in her ways; she became humbled through this experience, and strived to fix her past. she trained for years, trying to atone for her past mistakes and make better choices. eventually, she became a wanderer, never showcasing her talents but helping those in need. ' if one manages to have a lasting conversation with elise, she is an invaluable source of wisdom due to her experiences as a wanderer and her ability to commune with the dead. but most dragons steer clear of her due to her bitter and sarcastic attitude. sometimes however, if a dragon is being particularly foolish, elise will corner them and hold a long lecture, warning them to get their act together so as to avoid making mistakes, particularly ones that could have lasting effects on a dragons life. perhaps this is a remnant of her prior commandeering attitude, but to elise this is done out of a sense of pity. and perhaps also the wish that someone would have reasoned with her own younger self, and stopped her before she could stick her nose in places she simply didn't belong.
