▸ Dᴇsᴄʀɪᴘᴛɪᴏɴ
Born to Arcane parents, Averice was a small and quiet child. He was destined for greatness, for knowledge and power that most would only often dream of. But it was what he desired that lead him astray. That for dominance - that absolute form of power that dismissed scrolls and readings and replaced them with claws and overbearing oppression. It wasn't the way of his peers, such that he ended up discarded from the place he once called home.

But Averice paid little mind to such a thing. His interest lied elsewhere - in a place where he and his children, and his children's children would understand his dreams and desires, would rise above it all and take their places among the stars as they ought to. He carried himself with a delicate grace; beautiful and fragile, in the way that often lead others astray to his true intentions. But he couldn't fool everyone.

Astraea is a brute of a girl - bloodthirsty and cruel, ruthless in her judgement and arrogance. So, really, it was a good match. Averice made the face of the two, with beauty and pale, flowing smiles, and his mate would come behind him with a tooth-filled grin and do as they both wished to. Averice simple wondered whether this would be true of his children, as well.
