Biography
Cesare was born to a wealthy family aboard the Cloudsong, where the sun shined in his eyes and graced him with a view of the world before him. Despite this blessing, he wanted more. He wasn't entitled, he just believed his family wasted their money on a cushy life above the squabble below. At a young age, he built his own airship in secret. Once she was ready, he nabbed what gold of the family he could find and embarked on his quest to make a name for himself--with out the family involved. He named his ship Windsinger's Ballad, ornately decorated with the gold of his family. The Windsinger's Ballad became a marvel of the skies. He traveled to the farthest corners of Sornieth, seeking proper adventure. The eccentric Navigator became a well known character in pockets of the world. He earned money through his adventures, and using the Ballad to transport those who wanted to travel in luxury.
Due to his lifestyle, Cesare became an excellent cartographer. Most maps throughout the land are based on his own, if not copies. This led him to realize he could become useful in mapping artifacts. He joined with academics, treasure hunters and any who sought after the remnants of civilizations. One of his excursions led him to meeting Santiago the Wanderer, who was blown away by his ship and the library of exquisitely detailed maps housed within it. The two began to share their adventures together, as Santiago believed the mapping of Sornieth to be an important step to understanding its people.
Becoming close to Santiago led to him opening up his own shop with Faran, Maps for the Modern Adventurer, selling his maps to bright-eyed adventurers. He has never abandoned his upper-class mannerisms and tastes, with all the money he makes being used to further establish the Windsinger's Ballad as the most marvelous ship the world will ever see. Along with the Ballad, Cesare constructed The Sky's Soliloquy, a ship better suited for commercial travel, with an extravagant deck and comfortable bedding for passengers.

I heard a voice it said 'e dolore mangia gloria'
Bring me your heart and then
You will awake in a state of surprising euphoria
We fall beneath the sea of dreams and fail to breathe until we resurface again
