Flashwing was everything her parents had hoped she would be. Graceful, elegant and refined. But it was only once they left the lair that the other dragons started to see that she was also somewhat rough when playing, her personality often switching to that of the flinty earth dragons of Sornieth.

When her rowdiness began to rival even that of Nightscreech's, it was decided that maybe it was time for her to find a hobby. She was skilled in combat, although she never took an interest in it, instead pining for something that other dragons could take delight in with her.

Kiara was the one to suggest painting. Armed with her Goliath Mountain Beetle, Bash, she began to conjure up some of the clan's best artwork. She will toil away at her paintings for hours at times, and always strives to be better. Her practising can go on into the night, where she usually finds it most serene and is thus able to progress much swifter than if she attempted the same drawing during the day.

Although getting a piece from her is rare, other dragons have been able to bribe her gifts such as Pocket Watches and Poisonous Toridae. This is because Lorean, Temporal and Gwynth happen to be her best friends. She is always bringing them gifts for no apparent reason. They always shower her with praise, and will frequently bring her new paints for her works as their way of saying thanks, as well as the odd gemstone for which Flashwing herself collects in her free time. Despite this, the three will also offer her constructive criticism when asked, something which Flashwing is forever grateful for.
