Every action, they say, has an equal and opposite reaction.

When Effessia tore the veil aside, the monster Kaarnicu slipped through. And behind it, in the shadows, came another form. Light and quick and barely there at all, The Nameless One travels unseen through the clan, watching, waiting.

His icy presence often chills the dragons of Ista, but it's easy to dismiss - draughts are hardly unusual, after all - and carry on with their tasks. He's learned the hard way that no matter how he screams, they can't hear him.

Time to find another way.

So he slips, instead, into their dreams, formless and intangible as smoke, and wreaks panic in their minds.
