Raziel

Raziel doesn't know who brought him back from death or why they did so, but he's set on getting what he so craved; revenge on the one who murdered him. They attacked him from behind, cleanly slitting his throat and leaving him to die. Alone. Forgotten. Betrayed.

He died there, many, many years ago. His body had rotted down to bone and the few trinkets he'd worn in his time of living. When the necromancer brought him back, he hadn't been just bone. The dark magic had given him flesh and skin and blood once again, though this time everything was black as night. He bled a black liquid, his flesh was as dark as his scales. His soul was black as tar, and his heart just the same.

He hadn't really minded much. It made killing so much easier when your victim didn't see you coming.

When he'd looked into a mirror the necromancer had brought with them, Raziel saw his eyes bleed from the brilliant yellow they once were to a sinister, stormy grey, dotted by what seemed to be a tiny galaxy in his eyes. He had thought it strange at the time, but now he fully accepted the tiny galaxy in his gaze.

It unnerved others. It made him feel more...alive. Some even had the gall to call his eyes pretty, despite the malice and anger in them. Still, he let these comments slide, as he had never cared for flattery before, and wasn't about to start any time soon.

Raziel is a quiet dragon, bubbling with rage and a dark, smothering insanity. Some rumors say that to try and stay near him for too long was to go as crazy as him. Other whisper about his origins - the craziest theory so far was that he was a succubus or a demon. Oh, how wrong they all were.

Raziel is just another undead monstrosity.....and he's out for blood.

Raziel.

The name is instinctual. It is a memory, a sensation. The gentle caress of wind in his rotted mane, the snap of broken bones and shattered dreams. It is an old friend who breathes life into his unbeating heart. He breathes in the cool damp air of autumn and opens his mouth to speak, to hear his voice in the silence.

All that comes out is a tortured scream, a roar of an abused beast.

Raziel.

The name is his. He is Raziel, undead, undying, unfeeling.

He is all things you fear, all things you hate. He is the nightmare that lurks in the darkness with wicked claws and a bloody grin.
