Biography
Bafford
Clan Member of the Tumakirenme
Bafford is thoughtful, decisive, and proud. Bafford believes recognition is the greatest pleasure in life, so he strongly advocates for himself so that he may be happy and his story upheld. He is wary of his clan leader, Nimet, thinking her an cruel upstart. He reluctantly stays in the clan to further his aims at legacy. He works making the Slate Reliquary more habitable, tasks like building teaching. Bafford is an inquisitive sort, he asks many questions of his other Tumakirenme and as such, he is friends with the more egotistical dragons of the clan and shunned with the secretive ones. The hatchlings of the clan are his greatest joy, he raises them to be like the valiant Tumakiren. Bafford she the threat of selfishness exemplified in his rival, Blueblush.
Bafford left the Clan Horesh with the leader Tumakiren after his brief visit, seeing glory in a future with the great dragon. With the other Horesh expatriate, Isendra, the newly-bolstered companions of Tumakiren traveled across the world. Bafford proved himself a competent strategist and was given a small contingent to lead.
Bafford's days as a commander ended when Tumakiren took up the banner of Nimet's reconquest of the Slate Reliquary. All of Tumakiren's dragons stormed the badlands, and after the dust settled only a handful were still alive. Bafford was distraught by the death of his old leader, and brooded in the Reliquary for months before resolving to honor his memory by carrying his namesake clan to legendary status.
