Mesyni is a scholar who has dedicated herself to the art of tea. Among her studies she has documented many different varieties of tea, methods to create them as well as brew them, and the many ancient draconian tea ceremonies. She specializes in medicinal teas and their history; she loves discovering the backstory belonging to even the most mundane teas.

She loves to spend time in her workshop which others have described as a 'bitter scented hole in the ground' but that she calls home. Here, alongside her research, Mesyni also creates her own teas. She mostly dabbles in medicinal teas since they are her favourites though she has found that the tried and true recipes seem to work the best. She tests all her teas herself to determine their effectiveness; though they don't all work as intended she has never made herself ill.

Mesyni also acts as the practitioner of the traditional draconian tea ceremonies for the clan. Typically they are only carried out during sacred or diplomatic occasions but the clan does occasionally need her for them. She truly loves to lead tea ceremonies; those that attend are always charmed by her grace and air of serenity.

While Mesyni is great at interacting professionally she tends to be quite shy. During social interaction she usually hangs back and only responds when necessary; many of her clan mates have associated this with her demure work persona and have never realized quite how shy she is.

Having met Carya, she immediately knew that the Spiral was meant for her. Quiet, caring and dedicated to her craft; Mesyni admired all of her qualities (of course it didn't hurt that she was also quite pretty). Carya responded in kind and they began a slow courtship which they are both perfectly content with.
