Scarecrow is a fierce beauty born of the Carrion Canyon in the Shifting Expanse and bred specifically to be a perfect creation of her mother. She comes from a line of witches, and is technically one herself - though she prefers not to use those abilities. She is often mistaken for her mother and shunned, and the rumour is that she eats hatchlings. She does not. Scarecrow is a scavenger, trader and carrier of messages; though the messages she carries are not necessarily meant to be given. As a Skydancer, she has the ability to sense the emotions and intentions of others and sometimes she passes this information on to those these feelings were for. Scarecrow does not do this for good no bad, but for an instinct that tells her it is what she must do.

As a result of the amalgamation of her professions, Scarecrow travels all over Sorneith.
