ABOUT
I will always be here to watch the skies with you." A gentle soul borne from the love between a shade touched dragon and her light touched mate, Wish was born on the night of a full moon, not a cloud in the Sornith skies while the stars twinkled endlessly above. While her mothers had not found any signifigance in this, they learned soon enough of their daughter's love for astrology and stars. Ever since Wish was a small dragonet, she's adored the time spent stargazing, often thankful that she lived in the shadow territory- where the night sky was visible seemingly permanently with the territory's pervailing darkness. Her adoration of the heavens above was so that she even saw the twinkling of her beloved sky in her pearl, the precious stone holding the color of glimmering twilight. This love of space drove Wish to becoming a budding astrologist, the young pearlcatcher absolutely enraptured behind her telescopes and star maps that were always oh so meticulously and carefully drawn out. Not just attracted to the scientific side of stars, Wish also adores horoscopes. The stories behind each and every one of them along with predictions used with them amaze her. She's always loved pestering the local seers that looked to the sky for predictions and thoughs, sitting attentively for the information they might occasionally impart on her. With Wish's full nighttime schedule, it wasn't hard to completely miss the peculiar aspect of the stargazing dragon. Being born with the genetics of a light touched dragon and one shade touched, the result had made Wish... particularly unique. She was born a Shade-Eater, a dragon who consumed and purified Shade within them to live and survive. She's survived her time in Sleepy Magics by feeding off the Shade that resided in her mother Magius, the ridgeback unaffected by this since she'd never be able to run out of her curse no matter how voracious her child may be. Wish had been taught to keep this aspect of her under wraps though, because while the appearance of a Shade-Eater could be a great boon for an afflicted clan, those that wielded shade for their own motives would likely react aggressivly to this information. However, Wish remains a peaceful, gentle souled dragon who hides her own affliction well, only letting it show when she needs to eat, and often hiding herself away to do so. When it came time for Wish's dreams of an Astrology career to lead her into travelling away from home, she was sent off with every bit of love and well wishes from both her parents, and the clan that had raised her. Armed with her trusty telescope, scrolls for maps, a small supply of her own kind of rations, and an excited spirit of adventure, Wish left the shadow territories for some place new to pursue her own dreams. Having heard stories of how clear the skies were in Wind, that was where the young astrologist started her journey towards. She adored the sweet breeze and playfulness of Wind's native dragons, and the astounding clarity of the night sky above had steeled her happy resolution to settle down in a clan there to spend her days stargazing and map making among the reeds and kites.
