Aya slipped from her mother’s grasp mere moments after she first saw the light of the world. Her extraordinarily strong magic vaporized her once she was in direct contact with the charged area and overbearing mother.
As a small cloud, unable to manoeuvre she drifted off into the south as cold air from the Southern Icefields turned her into rain above the Sea of a Thousand Currents. Once she came into contact with the water that was shock full of magic she solidified once more. She couldn’t make out where she was, all her memories were just a biting colour red and a foul stench in her nose. And now this. Without much thought she started treading water. Her life had just begun. |
