Biography

HISTORY

Born to a Spiral father and a Wildclaw mother, Nethershroud was born into a Plague clan with strict rules for survival. She was not shown much love or mercy in her life, and was forced to watch as two of her siblings died due to the sickness that is ever present in the Plague lands. Her clutch had been born without immunity to the virus, which was odd in and of itself. Nethershroud was the only one who was immune to it. She never liked living in Plague, and when the opportunity came she left, searching for somewhere new to live.

Along the way, she ran into a male Mirror named Bligh. Bligh had been chased out of his old Clan due to an unfounded rumor that he had killed hatchlings, and as such he was no longer welcome in those lands. The two of them fell in love, and decided to start a Clan together. They settled down in the lands of Shadow, a place where they both felt comfortable and were sure that they would not be chased out or discriminated against.

PERSONALITY

Nethershroud is generally a calm and cool dragon. She does not lose her temper easily, and that makes her good with hatchlings. She is unusual for a Spiral as she is normally calm, and members of her breed are usually high-strung and full of energy. She can often be found playing with the hatchlings, when she is not helping her mate run the Clan. She enjoys playing with them, as they remind her of a time when she was innocent and untainted by the worries of the world.

She is also a caring dragon. Nethershroud has a tendency to "mother" all of the members of the Clan, fretting over them as if she was their real mother. Though she has no hatchlings of her own, she yearns for them, and often asks Bligh if he would like to have hatchlings one day. Her mate is somewhat conflicted on the idea, however, so they have yet to start warming their own nest.

Nethershroud was super happy when Bligh finally decided to have babies, and on October 21, 2016, they had their first of many clutches.
