Matriarch Nymeria has been with this clan the longest of any dragon in residence. She's seen the clan move from the Twisting Crescendo in the Windswept Plateau to their current home in the Southern Icefield. During that process, Nymeria stepped up as matriarch of the clan after the clan's founder, Snowdrift, moved on to serve the god Windsinger. She remains the leader of the clan even when Snowdrift returned. Named after the Princess of the Rhoynar from a Song of Ice and Fire, Nymeria took after her namesake and became one of the clan's first warriors. She favors a light, quick approach in her fighting style, going after the weak points in her enemies' armor before they can strike back. To this day, she refuses to wear more than a few items of apparel, feeling that the weight could throw her off and allow her enemies a hand or claw hold for grabbing. During her fighting days, her coli teammates started a rumor that her coloring was caused by the blood splatter of her enemies. Nymeria is the last of her fighting coli team - Novath and Castielle - have both moved on to serve Icewarden and Windsinger respectfully. Although she will occasionally team up with Valencia to help train new young warriors, Nymeria is retired from team battling in the coliseum and beyond the clan's lair. As the Matriarch, she spends the majority of her time leading the clan's operations and their survival day to day. |
