A fearsome guardian originating from the Shifting Expanse, Umalan is a massive dragon who's the current crime lord at large in GuidingWinds.
He works through a network of dragons in the Outer District and is known for hosting fights at the Pit- a massive cage where dragons fight to the death for others entertainment. Despite all odds Umalan has successfully gone under the Kingdom Champion's radars- at least for now.

Umalan observes the Pit fights, always making sure that no one dares to help the contestants. His right hand, a nocturne named Scorpio is always by his side. If someone needs to be punished then Scorpio is the one who does it. Umalan keeps a close eye on the gold and gems that come from bets and entrance fees, letting his Zalis familiar hold the bag for the money.

Despite never being seen in the Pit himself, rumors have spread that Umalan is a beast of remarkable lightning power and physical strength. Only a fool would dare challenge him to his own game, or worse, cross him.
