Since she’s lost just about everyone who’s ever mattered to her, Nyx is very reserved and quiet around people, occasionally mistaken as ‘shy’. The truth is after the debacle with her brother, which was closely followed and compounded by the entire Christopher situation, she’s gotten used to being on her own. She doesn’t like to let anyone close to her, both because of past trauma as well as her being nervous that it could cause her to lose her carefully-crafted control over her dragon form. As far as she’s concerned, no one is worth risking anything for. Not again. Nyx is very wise and observant, though she tends to keep the things she sees to herself or she’ll sketch them in one of her various sketchbooks. Drawing (and sometimes painting) is her chosen form of expression, though she has to occasionally come up with new names to create art beneath.
