 B I O G R A P H Y
She works alongside the Information Gatherers, like Ember and Patrick, and it’s through her connection with Ember that she meets Rainier. He’s an interesting sort, full of tales of past adventures, and they became fast friends. It was her who made the decision to offer to be his Mate, completely out of the blue. He was a little stunned by her directness, and asked her why. She told him that she realised that she would let him actually know what her Charge is, and trusted him enough to know he would never tell anyone else. He seemed more than a bit confused, but she took him back to her Lair to see it. At the bottom of a storage chest lied… something, wrapped in cloth. She carefully peeled back the threadbare fabric, revealing an old relic from her domain: a Behemoth Lance. She saw from his face that he was nearly bursting with questions to ask, and maybe she would answer them in time. At that point though, but she folded the fabric back over and closed the chest. Feeling oddly vulnerable, she demanded his answer to her admittedly rather abrupt proposal. He was still more than a little curious about her Charge, but he accepted. Their relationship is warm, as they both seem to enjoy the smaller parts of life that gets thrown at them; sunny days with a cooling breeze, the ripe smell of strawberries from the gardens by their lair, and finding various feathers and tufts of fluff stuck in her scales (whenever Rainier stops laughing to let her know about them.) Their first clutch gives them four Hatchlings; two are almost immediately exalted to the Lightweaver, and they’re both honoured. The other two are more outgoing types, and Cailan leaves entirely, starting a family in the Lightning Domain when he’s just over the age of adulthood. Cassandra is a bit of a recluse, though she makes an effort of visiting every now and then. She’s often off galavanting to goodness knows where, and Yusra quickly learns to not ask. When the clan has finally moved to their last location, she starts to work alongside Newt and Lavrenti for Familiar research. It is Lavrenti's idea to start an actual sanctuary for animals, and together they set up a Sanctuary in the upper right quadrant of the Lair. The rolling green fields are soon shared by the gardens, grown by Lilla and Nigella. The Lair that she shares with Rainier is nearby, just between her vocation and his - an occasional trainer for warriors, set up in the rebuilt amphitheatre.

She wakes up from a dream in early Spring. She gasps awake and Rainier stirs beside her, but she doesn't notice. She flies out of their home at such speed, that she is gone between one blink and the next.
On the outskirts of the Clan, on the path that leads towards the Sea of a Thousand Currents, is a young Dragon. Barely old enough to be out of his awkward hatchling phase, he freezes when he spots her. "What is your name?" she calls to him. "Caspian," he replies. He bows his head to the ground. "You are the Tidelord's Chosen." "He told me to wait for you," she says. "So I suppose you are his Chosen too." He looks up then, and it's now that she sees the shifting seaweed around his torso. "Can there be more than one?" She shrugs. "That seems to be how we operate here." She gestures for him to follow. "There's a spot made for you back with the Clan... We were expecting someone from the Water Flight to join us eventually."
