Any posturing speaks to being casual rather than aggressive or defensive, and even the quickest of glances hints at amusement rather than worry. Granted, if you had your audience hanging on your every word and ready to serve your whim, you might have some measure of self-assurance, too. Also, markings that accentuate a comrade's curves don't hurt. Now if only that whole "alien anatomy" thing wasn't trying to kick in so hard, peeking out from behind finely-tooled metal. The extra eyes, for starters. Too many teeth. And is that... are those... tentacles?...

As T'cheen Ouril's hiilaum, the school's leader, Ikkou determines foreign policy, sets raiding priority, approves mining operations, and just about every other tedious task one might expect from someone in Brackenblack Trench's dominant school. In turn, she is the one at the helm for all Uraunt, dictating and delegating with a masterful hand. To a surfacer, this might even equate to a royal title. Known for her shrewd tactics and impressive charisma, she has guided Brackenblack Trench to a respectable level of prosperity. There have certainly been a few dissenters, but those have either been convinced of their errors or have been dealt with discreetly. After all, every school knows that it is important to present a unified front. Rumor has it that Ikkou prefers to handle her rivals and detractors personally, and can often bend even the most recalcitrant knee with little more than a stare and her force of will. Those who require a more delicate touch instead find their dreams more dangerous than the waking world. Regal duties aside, Ikkou is also known as something of a playful sort, enjoying witty banter and partaking in such pastimes as mantarune training and surfacer tipping. After all, it's important to have fun. |
