B I O G R A P H Y

The gentle pull of a tide that rolls over and over again and by the sheer nature of its essence it becomes an indestructible will- ripping out sand- eroding what was before it- without a care... a transformational monster-becoming the madness and frenzy of a truly bulletproof wave. I'm not just here for your love, I'm here for all of the love. An overdose of dopamine- we are living inside of M A N I A right now. the never sleeping, never blinking- caught forever in the sunshine riptide. -pw

SJosilyn doesn't know the Before. She doesn't know what happened when she was young, with her first clan, with a Flight that was green and sweet and yet...never enough. She would play in the fields and eat apples and just. Do things. Serve a god.

She doesn't remember. She doesn't want to remember. Because, after the Before came the Then, and they are two things so different they hurt. She remembers the caravan of the mint-eyed dragons that brought lights and magic and music to her clan. She remembers the spiral's dancing, whirling around and around and around, long into the night and long into the day, again and again. She remembers when they finally stopped and her legs nearly buckled out beneath her.

She remembers the feeling of her family beneath her toes. She remembers how it sickened her. She remembers how she kept dancing. She remembers how she didn't seem to mind.

SThe caravan days were the happiest days. She was so light and so free; every breath was one of sweet, fresh air. Her blood pumped magic. She was flying, always flying, always serving Him. Windsinger. The one true god; he who brought love and happiness to the lands. She was merely his prophet, his most loving disciple, exhalter of all.

And exhalt she did. The caravan would bring parties, games, messages from people who only probably existed. For every person like her who would hear the song, five more would refuse to do so. They wouldn't dance fast enough. They wouldn't fly high enough. She likes to think that Windsinger took the unwilling exhalted under His good wings, treated them with the care he would one day treat her with.

She doesn't know exactly what happened, or why, but she, too, couldn't dance fast enough. She fell out of the sky...and into His blustering domain! It didn't matter, the ragtag clan she found herself in, how they looked at her sideways when she spoke, how the hatchlings couldn't trust her gleaming eyes and too-wide smile.

She knows who Windsinger loves best. She knows the song he sings. Even if nobody else thinks it's in the right key.
