Biography
Blooded was one of the oldest in the clan.
He had seen dragons come and go, some of them staying for perhaps a day or two, most not even adults.
The clan wouldn’t replace him though.
Who would repair their armour and tools and weapons if he was gone?
There wasn't another blacksmith or metalworker like him in the region.
Well, at least in the Plaguebringer's domain.
They couldn't afford it if he just up and left one day, taking his tools and materials with him.
There were so many other clans that could pay Blooded much better than this clan would ever do.
But he didn't really want to leave.
He had made a lot of friends here.
And he had Earthsong, his mate.
IceShadow, his eldest child, had chosen to stay, too.
Although the tumultuous, heated land of the Flameforger called to him sometimes, the lure of the Wyrmwound was much stronger.
He was a dragon of the fire, but his heart belonged to the Plague.
He had heard that the borders between the elemental realms were dissolving, and that the deities were getting lenient.
It seemed like every clan had a assortment of flights now.
Blooded hoped that those words were true.
It was hard enough leaving the Wyrmwound, and he didn't want to make it harder by subjecting himself to the abuse from other Fire dragons, claiming that he had "betrayed" his deity.
Blooded could resist the urge to go home.
For now, at least.
Review #6 from VESTAIS (perspective of Dennis)
After watching Duroth's long demonstration, Dennis searched for another dragon whose appearance caught his eye. He settled on Blooded. The mirror was busy doing ... something, with some weird looking metal, but Dennis didn't mind interrupting. "Hello there, I'm-" "Here to review the lair. I know." Blooded had interrupted him. "Yes, I a-" "You can go ahead and do me." Blooded interrupted again. Dennis was a little annoyed but he started anyway. "Well, I like the way your natural colours match your apparel, everything about you says fire flight! Although I've heard you are very loyal to your plague clan. I would never doubt that." Blooded nodded. "You shouldn't," he muttered to himself. "I like the way your bronze steampunk spats match your searing sash and the other warm colours in your apparel. I especially like-" Dennis tapped the other dragon's glasses with a single claw "-these." He was normally very polite, but Dennis was a little peeved that Blooded had repeatedly interrupted him. He wanted to annoy the other dragon just a little bit. "Don't touch me!" Blooded spat. "Be on your way, I'll throw a hot coal at you if you don't leave." "Go ahead then!" Dennis taunted as he walked away from the mirror dragon. As angry as he was, he knew it would be unbecoming of him to start a fight in a lair filled with strangers.
