The Ambassador

Character: This dragon is a very gentle and kind creature. He hates war and blood. If he is able to stop any bloodshed, even if his own clan isn't involved, he will do it.

He has almost no real foes, but after two times he was kidnapped by other clans, the Leader ordered him to take a private guard with him.


Role: Rai is the clan's ambassador. He is a coatl... a coatl... COATL, CARL! As any dragon of his species, he is definitely not suited for such kind of work - you see, for a job where you should TALK with possible allies or foes. So, why? This boy has an unusual power of persuasion and can come to an agreement even with the severest of dragon species. At first, they are surprised, then mesmerized by soft cooing sounds this boy is producing. He is not trying to hypnotize them, no. These sounds , unique in tone and rhythm, just make them calmer and ready to negotiate.

If he REALLY needs to say something verbally, his wife - a skydancer lady Aigean - is always standing behind his shoulder to help.

Interesting fact: Rai can easily speak with most of the beastclans and mystic creatures like fairies - and they all understand him without any difficulty. His wonderful gift has saved - literally, saved - the Clan several times.


Name Meaning: Raigaer stands for "The Sea Air" in Ancient Irish.
