Biography

Heavenwards He... Had a type. His mates tended to be unusual, he liked unusual after the sheer monotony of his old clan. The droning business had driven him up the wall, he was a spontaneous dragon by nature, with a love for trying new things and so having to continue to do the same actions day in and day out with barely any reward had practically been an insanity sentence. But finally he was free! He’d finally annoyed them enough for them to throw him out! He’d done it all, messed up their filing systems, played pranks with the wires, and changed his clothes and manners of speech every other week just to throw them off. If he could he would have scrolled himself into a new color pallet or breed as well, just to make sure he didn’t fall into the same trap of monotony that they had. He didn’t care that he /could/ relax. He wouldn’t, he’d never stop and become monotonous. He’d gotten very good at thinking on his feet and even better at languages and acting. He could play the shrewd businessman or the nattering fool or any other role and change between them like hats. Despite his hatred of tedium he could blend in with any crowd after only watching them for a few hours. He slips and bargains and amicably chats his way from the Shifting Expanse to the Sunbeam Ruins to the Tangled Wood where he dropped by his father’s old clan. They had posed several questions he hadn’t thought about but found himself pondering days later in a rented den. What would he do now? Would he just continue to wander and keep changing and blending because that would become a monotonous thing in its own right. But to join a clan means he might relax, might slip into routine and lose his determination. What to do? by IronPen |
