There's only a short stretch of mountain to cover now, the snow-tipped peak just within reach. Breathless, she stretches out with gloved claws towards the final crags, analyzing her surroundings and strategizing where she should put her paws next. To anyone else, her accomplishment would have seemed absurd. Why would a Wind dragon, perfectly capable of flight, choose to clamber up a mountain on foot? Pride, she would answer. Just to prove that she could, to boast that she had conquered the highest peak in Sorineth. An odd goal, to be sure, but one with merit nonetheless.

Tallica had heard of mountaineering through an Ice dragon, a passerby wandering through the Windswept Plateau. They had spoken of the Cloudscape Crags, and how the clans living among them feared the impossibility of climbing the unforgiving range. Of course, Tallica, who had inherited her mother's spirit, saw this as a challenge, and began to gather supplies for a journey to the Southern Icefield.
