649.png Keaka was born to fight. She knew this, growing up and battling her siblings. She was destined for scraps in the den, for full-out battles in the arena, for war out on the glades. She was born to fight, but her passion lay far beyond the scars and bruises of the battlefield. She could often be found at the back of the cave in which the small family's lair was hidden, exploring the dark recesses of her prison.
"What are you looking for?" Her mother asked, once. She didn't know. She didn't know how to explain the peace she felt deep in the earth, where her siblings dared never tread. Only that she didn't want to be in the ranking. All she wanted was to be. Preferably deep underground. As the fights grew rougher and more desperate, and those she once thought of as siblings she could only safely view as rivals, she looked for a way of escape. It was in the darkness that she found it. 11293.png
14553.png The Forgotten Caves were not well-mapped, and a dangerous place to train. But to the small skydancer, they offered salvation. She used her highly sensitive antennae to navigate the dark tunnels, and escaped along a narrow exit that few, even in her species, could manage. With nothing more than hope, a great knowledge of spelunking, and the feathers on her wings, she now seeks a clan that will accept her- not as a warrior, but just as Keaka.
