Old lore:
The daughter of two potently venomous parents, this girl does not look it in the least. Her scales gleam like gemstones, like a creature blessed with sunlight. She couldn't possibly carry anything so inimical within her. And yet, like the perfect assassin, she carries it completely unseen. Set amongst the claws on each front paw is a harmless looking extra, connected to a venom gland. The right flex of her paw sends the poison running through it, and a playful swipe, a single seemingly harmless scratch, sends it into a victim's bloodstream. She knows that her distinctive set of scratchmarks, five instead of the usual four, could risk giving her away if she's not careful, so she always wears ornamental gauntlets, claw guards, gloves... Anything to hide her extra little secret, and the fact that she always keeps one single claw filed too blunt to leave a fifth scratch. Ironically, this affectation that makes her seem dedicated to her own beauty over practicality means that she is rarely even a suspect when her victims' deaths by poison are discovered.

She always carries a delicate silk sash, hidden close to her heart, such a pale celadon it appears white unless folded upon itself. Her mother wove it for her while she was in the egg, and it was the only possession she left her birth clan with. There is a message hidden in the pattern for her, woven in luminous and steel-strong spider silk amongst the ordinary threads, speaking of strength so well hidden in beauty that no one can see it who does not already know it is there. The scarf never frays nor tears, and its unusual strength has served its owner well more than once.
