Myrtaceae Syzygium Aromaticum
Clove’s stoic beauty and elegant air about her lead most dragons to keep out of her way, but she is actually quite lonely, and longs for companionship. Her inexpressiveness and introversion betray her gentle, loving and kind nature, and those who are acquainted with her know how supportive and encouraging she is. Even Controversia, who can’t bring herself to care about anything, considers Clove a “ray of sunshine” and a “breath of fresh air” in the clan. The air whence she walks is fragranced by an aroma of sweet spices.

She moves about slowly but gracefully, and seems somewhat melancholic in her actions. Even though she is relatively young, she has the wisdom and maturity of a dragon many times her age. Her right hind leg becomes sore and stiff most times due to an old injury; although, she will never mention it in conversation unprompted. No other dragon in their clan, besides Controversia, knows about Clove’s past.

Taming animals is one of her favorite hobbies, as they take to her maternal nature and seek out her company. She loves cats the most in particular, despite not many living in the area. She loves the delicate warmth and affectionate grace that felines exude, which contrasts their wrath and icy indignance in the fierce heat of battle. She also has basic medicinal training as an apothecary, and mixes herbs and remedies as an assistant to Rubra.
