Soreth's upbringing was within the semi-noble courts of the shadow clans. He was trained as a guard, but through several acts of thrilling heroics and dashing wit, he was booted out of these clans and became a sword-for-hire.

During this time, he was hired by a small Fae and a Tundra who sought to rout the last of the raiding Ice clans that were making a nuisance of themselves for both the Fae/Tundra, and the Clans along the new Arcana borderlands.
