The child was born viciously, ripping from his egg with such ferocity that the shell shattered to bits, an explosion of sticky and grotesque green goop.


Yet the child seemed eager. Willing. Much too...kind? Too nice to be a child of disease. His soul reeked of trickery rather than sickness. Much to one's surprise, he held inside of him the beating heart of a dragon born under the binder of shadow.

What did that make him? An outcast? One to be tossed aside to fend for himself? He didn't mind. In fact, he preferred it. He felt able to fend for himself from the moment he hatched, so why bother with anyone else? Within a breath, he fled his nest. Within a breath, he found his new home.

His looks left the clan...breathless.

His birthmarks left permanent sprays of crimson, as if he rolled around in...something dark and sinister. Perhaps that's why some of the clan feels slightly uneasy around him, but he never minds it. He knows he fits better here than he ever did anywhere else.

Breathless currently does not have a specific job in the lair, so he tends to go around trying to assist other dragons. He usually starts with dragons that have smaller jobs, such as Leviathan. Most of the time he ends up staying with him for most of the day before moving on to a new target.

He does scare some of the other lair members with how quiet he can be, but they quickly relax when they notice who was following them around
