Ceivel

Ceivel remembers when he lost everything dear and near to him. He remembers losing grip on his brother, the monstrous waves that rocked their ship and killed nearly half his crew. He remembered screaming for Liviel, for his beloved twin to come back, to fight the waves to keep his damn head up.

He remembered losing his twin that day, of drifting back into calm ocean not an hour after Liviel was lost to him. He remembered their first mate coming up and wrapping one massive wing around him. Ceivel remembers being told his brother was probably dead (not by his first mate, the imperial boldly claimed to believe in Liviel's being alive).

Ceivel knows his twin isn't dead - there isn't silence, he can still hear his twin in his head, so faraway he can't hear the words, but he knows Liviel is alive somewhere.

And with or without his crew's help, he'll find him if it's the last thing he does.
