Halcyon, Friend of Mirrors
A Clan Elder, Scout and Mediator
Bio: No elder would say they’ve reached their age alone, least of all Halcyon of the volcanic lands. Superstitions against pale-colored hatchlings nearly always led to their immediate death. It was only by the happenstance of Soterios witnessing his hatching and then snatching the new fae, not yet fully out of his shell, that made him one of the few exceptions. Though Soterios’ status as a tundra prevented his leaving his area of the land, he took a gamble in requesting help of the save mirrors then passing through the land. Sycamore and Severin were pleased with the goods of payment Soterios offered with the hatchling, and took on a pledge to help. They soon dropped the young fae off in Tidelord’s watery lands.
Water to light to lightning to ice--- Halcyon has a strong network of mirror friends. Mirrors don’t mind that he speaks in a monotone style. They judge his actions before they do his words, and understand his words in context of his actions. That is something Halcyon easily understood and respected almost immediately. Halcyon enjoys traveling with a pack. He flies above in wide circles, and falls quickly back to his pack with any news of food, beast clans, enemies, or friends. After a battle, he often beelines for the closest help. Halcyon only knows the taste of life because a tundra stole him away. Unlike the mirrors, he never leaves a dragon behind.
Personality: --
Abilities: A dragon’s magical abilities grow as they age. Halcyon’s fire magic is surpassed only by Soterios’. However, he isn’t very practiced in using it. Halcyon is better trained for observation and peace-keeping skills. If you need a watch, if you need a mediator---This little fae has the experience and track record to give any dragon serious thought.
