Dile is a child of the swamp. She has lived there her entire life in the muck and the mud, in the algae and foliage. It's a horrendous smelling place with croaking frogs and sinking alligators. Although Dile absolutely loves it. She loves living in the swamp and likes to think of herself as being a future Princess of her own kingdom placed in the swamp. Although nobody would ever want to live in the swamp, Dile doesn't fret over that. Dile is a very sensitive dragon though. She's extremely insecure about her appearance, considering she has to often look at herself in the water below her home, Dile doesn't think she's gorgeous. Although, Dile does know Estrange is gorgeous. Dile wishes to be as pretty as the real Princess of the kingdom and aspires to be as beautiful as her. Because of this Dile buys perfume every time she goes to town. Dile also wears lotuses and crafts 'dresses' out of palm fronds. She attempts to make 'fancy' meals out of frogs, alligators, whatever she buys in town. Although she keeps her own style still. Attempting to be fancy and beautiful still, she keeps her home in the swamp and decorates it just as you would imagine. Old-fashioned and made of wood, with a collection of clocks on the wall. An obsession with time. Dile attends every ball that the princess throws too. This is the only time she even dresses appropriately. Since she is poor she rents dresses to wear to the ball and has someone make her beautiful. Although the scent of swamp on her flesh is always apparent, though an overpowering perfume usually covers it at these fancy balls. Dile only goes to watch Estrange and no male ever asks to dance with the swamp princess. This does upset Dile that she is not desirable by neither male nor female and does seek relationships with others, though she usually fails because of her appearance and the boggy smell that she gives off. |
